Positive Growth for the City of Kuna: A Community Swimming Pool (SPONSOR 05/16/07 8:44pm)
I am extremely excited about the idea of forming a committee for the purpose of acquiring a swimming pool for our youth.
I'll take this opportunity to announce that I would be pleased to participate in such a committee. I am willing to attend meetings and to work as an officer or secretary if my services are needed.
Lucy Lueddeke has presented Kuna an awesome chance to do something really fantastic for our youth. We don't have to re-invent the wheel here. We can find out how this has worked before, conduct fund-raisers, network with the school district and city, and write for any applicable grants.

I am very pleased to hear that a community pool could be in our future. I feel strongly that some type of recreational facility is necessary for our youth as well as the adults. Please let me know if there is something I could do to help. I do own my own business and have limited time but would be willing to help where I could.
