I was wanting to ask people what they thaught Kuna needed the most as far as businesses. More food options? Movie theater? Any ideas? I was wanting to maybe start a new business in Kuna, something to help the community get what they need/want. (SPONSOR 08/16/07 3:13am) REPLY

I think a cheap movie theater would be a good idea. Also another family restaurant like Red Robin or Fridays, but not as expensive. Good luck! (SPONSOR 10/23/08 12:35pm) REPLY

If you're still interested in what needs to be here in Kuna, I think a bowling alley for all ages who like to bowl, or a youth center. These kids here in Kuna need a place to go so they don't get into trouble. When there's nothing to do, they create their own activities. I personally think a bowling alley would go well here. There are alot of older folks who like to bowl, but the alleys are too far away. I know my small children and I love to bowl. Great family fun! Get some leagues going, it would be a hit! A bowling alley would be great, but I also think we need someone to compete with Paul's. The prices are getting out of hand. And I don't mean a Slavertson's either. We used to have a rental place, but I think that went under. Another good idea would be to have another laundrymat. The one we have now is a dive. (tmoss 12/25/07 4:35am) REPLY

i think a book store/ record store would be great. i also like the idea of a bowling alley. we definately need a pool in this area so we don't have to go to nampa or meridian every summer. (pussy 04/16/08 8:06pm) REPLY

I think you all have fantastic ideas about what to bring to our community! I was born and raised in Kuna and have said for years that someone needs to put a public pool, a movie theater, or a bowling alley here for the kids and families. The feedback I have gotten when making such suggestions is that they are too expensive and it would take a lot to get any of them up and running in this small town. You would need a lot of insurance for a pool and it would cost a bit to get equipment for a bowling alley so I thought a movie theatre might be your best bet...however, I've also been informed that the cost of start up on a theatre would be really high and it would be difficult to compete with the Majestic and Edwards. However, if anyone wants to bring any of these things to this town I would be very greatful!!! I really think we need something for family entertainment...especially now that this place is growing so rapidly! (SPONSOR 12/17/09 12:05pm) REPLY
