Kuna Police Issue Speeding Citations

Kuna police issued more than 30 citations to speeding drivers during recent aggressive driving patrols.
The six-day patrol put extra Ada County Sheriff's deputies on the road to specifically target dangerous driving behaviors.
Deputies assigned to the patrol made contact with 112 drivers. Of those, 32 drivers were cited for speeding, eight of which were under the age of 18.
Deputies cited 18 drivers for failing to have insurance and 11 for failing to wear a seat belt.
Examples of aggressive driving include speeding, not signaling, tailgating, cutting in, not allowing others to merge, intersection violations along with disregarding signals and other road signs.
