Best Bath Decision is Put on Hold Again
Full Description:
By: Scott McIntosh/Kuna Melba News Editor
Kuna City Council members Tuesday night put off a decision on Best Bath because of a problem with the sound recording of the July 22 public appeal hearing, according to an exclusive story in this week's Kuna Melba News.
City attorney Randy Grove reported Tuesday night that some of the testimony that was provided during the July 22 appeal hearing was not recorded on the city’s audio system.
Because of the possibility of future legal action, which may require a complete and accurate record of the public hearing, Grove recommended delaying any decision and redoing the public hearing so that a complete record is made of everyone’s comments.
City Council members voted unanimously to schedule a new public hearing beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18.
